Hey all. I had my eyebrow pierced today (photo uploaded) and it's put me in the mood to have my tongue pierced. However, my partner doesn't like the idea of kissing me and tasting metal.
Should I get it done? And is my partner worrying for nothing? Answers on a postcard. :) |

I say leave you partner. If they cant be supportive of a simple piercing theirs no way you gonna want them around somethings extreme like put a hole thu your head. PS pretty sure the bars dont leave a taste in your mouth.

I can honestly say, having kissed a man with a tongue piercing, I could barely taste his tongue.
Sit down with her, explain to her that it means a lot to her and you would appreciate her supporting you in your decision :D |

Before I got my tounge peirced, I had kissed guys that had theirs done, and i never tasted metal or anything...I cant say anything now because ive had mine done for 8 months, so if there is a metal taste, im used to it. But i never tasted metal before i got it done...Thats just me tho.

Before i got my own tongue pierced my husband had his done and i never ever tasted metal of any sort, i know your being serious but it did make me giggle a little thats what shes concerned about LOL best of luck and honestly at the end of the day its your body and what makes you happy, i say go for it :)

Yes you should get it done and your partner is worrying for nothing. I got mine pierced 20+ years ago and have kissed hundreds and hundreds of people (ah the old days  ) and have never had someone say anything about "tasting metal" or had any complaints at all. Is great for oral sex also. |

you don't taste metal if you have a piercing in your mouth trust me. get a vibrating tongue ring and she'll get over it.
