The Walnut City Council in California recently voted 5-0 to approve a set of guidelines and regulations regarding the opening of tattoo studios in the city. While the city does not currently have any tattoo studios, one business license is pending and a tattoo studio could be opening on Valley Boulevard as soon as this year. One thing that we can all agree on is that including the stipulation that "tattooing anyone under the age of 18 is a misdemeanor" was a good move. While that won't stop all the scratchers, it's a step in the right direction.
