This is more than just an idea, I've already done it. I branded mine with a shaped piece of a safety pin red hot warmed over a lighter.

It was not super deep, but it left a discolored (lighter than surrounding tissue) scar on the glans. I might add photo later in case you are interested. There is no texture, it is flat. As for feeling, since it is quite thin, I can't really say if I have any feeling in the scar or not.

It didn't hurt much, but I had a lot of adrenaline in my blood, so maybe that's why. I am kinda content with the result, maybe I will try it something bigger more someday later.
