I wouldn't worry about it. Your back looks really nice and will look even better when it's finished. Humans that are too symmetrical don't look right as we are meant to be at least slightly different on either side.

I think one of your shoulderblades sticks out a little bit more than the other, which is what's making your tattoo look slightly uneven when gridded out.  Looks fine without the grid, though.

very cool guys.  i really appreciate the feedback.  i guess what bugs me is how the exisitng leaves do not hit the new area at the same place.  one of the swirls goes over while the other side goes under.  the grid lines confirm he was right as far as placement is concerned but it seemed to be sloppy in the "arms" of the swirly things.  so shading really does take care of it?  guess if i was going to be this picky, i should have had something more conventional.  not me tho.  i did talk to him and he felt real bad because he saw the one mistake.  he's so good.  just hope i didn't over criticize.  i will post when color is complete.
