So I want a new facial piercing but I can't decide on what I want. Either septum, cheeks, ashley, or vertical labret. Or someone could suggest something totally different. I'm not new to piercings at all. So far I have nipples, nose, tongue, vch, dermals placed to look like a nape, belly button (top&bottom), and my ears stretched. You may have noticed that almost all my piercings are covered up and I want something more on my face. Please help! Thanks! x

Do an INVERTED vertical labret so the only thing that shows is the ball that comes out on your lip, and the other ball is inside, lower, on your inner lip.

That is called an "ashleyt", MrGlass.
Cheeks are a bitch to heal, if they ever do. Septum would look busy with the nostril. I'd say something lip related.. |

I wondered what an Ashley was to be honest. Vertical labret gets my vote

I have 2 facial piercings my left nose and a monroe on the left side :) Don't be afraid to put something on the same side, perhaps a left lipring.. I really like the dahlia, debating it for the future :)

I'm a big fan of vertical labrets and septum rings. If you get the septum make sure you go to a good piercer (you should anyway) I can't stand septums with bad placement.

Thank you all for your input.
San, I don't agree with you that cheek piercings may never heal. I think that with the proper aftercare and looking after your cheek piercings, they will heal, but maybe just longer than expected. My two qualms about them though are that when you get them they swell up really bad for about two weeks and I don't really like that. As a hair stylist I don't want to be looking like a bloody chipmunk for 2 weeks. Also, I'm not too sure if they would suit my face. Tara. Are you actually wanting one dahlia? Or maybe you are getting confused with another piercing? Kingshortpants. I would absolutely go to a good piercer around here. Usually I would go to Russ Foxx or I would go to Adrenaline. I live in Vancouver so they appeal to me the most for hygiene and skill. If I were to get a septum though I would only want to small balls on either side of my septum. As a hoop but not a huge one. Have you ever seen someone with an ashley piercing? I think so far it will either be ashley or vertical labret. Because the ashley is an inverted vertical labret and the ball is on the inside of your mouth, i'm afraid of catching it on my teeth and ripping it. As you know the skin on your lip is thin and fragile. |

If you want something "different", get a bridge.
You could always photoshop different things to see how they look on you, or even consult with a trusted piercer for an opinion.
