I recently got a triangle piercing, and was just wondering just exactly how much bleeding is normal? i've been told they bleed off and on for a few days, and i know that everyone is different. just curious :)

Everyone is different and it will bleed anywhere form a few drops to medium, to even a heavy flow for up to 2 to 3 days.

Healing time ranges from eight to twelve weeks. While it's healing, the piercing should be kept far far away from places where bacteria like to live — washcloths, dirty hands, tongues, swimming pools, etc. Sexual activities (including masturbation should be held off until around three weeks after the piercing is done.

Let me start by saying I'm a bleeder..With that said, I bled for about 3 days straight, and I wound up with an ugly clot stuck on my jewelry that my piercer had pull off me late on a Friday night. Not fun! But it's a great piercing

i've had funny weird looking clots too! gross, i know, but i honestly couldn't tell if the blood and clots were from my piercing or if i had started my piercing. i'm very happy with it so far, the placement is awesome, and even though i would easily classify it as the absolute worst of my 26 piercings, i think it's going to be one of my favorites :) and yes Kevin, you do know me. you are my boyfriend and all lmao. you just had to add tongues to the list of things not to be around my new piercing huh? fuck our lives. anyways, it's VERY sore. i'm having a little trouble walking, i'm a waitress and that probably irritates it more than other people who work different jobs, and i had to sleep with a pillow between my knees last night. sadface.

I had very little bleeding, til day 2 or 3 when I snagged the jewelry, but even then I only bled for a few hours
