i've wanted a hysterectomy for a while now, both because of the no kids thing but because of my menstrual disorder, but i'd be content with having my tubes tied now that i've got the menstrual thing more under control with hormone treatment. problem is that will never happen until i've got two kids and am at least thirty. :/

yeah, you'd think we'd have more control over what we want, but think about abortion in the states and stuff. i also have another real touchy subject i debate about that i won't get into here, but my point is we can do what we want as long as it seems moral to the people in power. such is life.

canadians + riot = no dice. there is absolutely no passion in the country what-so-ever. think about our last election. our country hates harper. harper calls a vote when he says he wouldn't because he wants more senate seats, giving people a chance to vote him out. people get pissed so they don't vote. people who do get off their asses vote so harper can stay in power. harper wins.

i know you aren't telling me, it just sort of gets to me sometimes that nobody seems to take me seriously when i say i don't want kids or marriage. i am old enough to vote, fight for my country, buy booze and cigarettes, have a kid, get married, alter my body as i please, and start my career, but i can't be taken seriously for making THESE types of serious life decisions? egh.
