anyway, i'm just curious about what people's occupations are.

I'm a CNA (certified nurse's aide) and I work in a nursing home. I've been there for almost a year now.

I agree that the economy is in the dumps. If I didn't have the job I have, I don't know what the hell I'd be doing. Probably a part time job in the food or retail industry. I did both in high school, and I didn't like either of them.

I'm an administrator in a prison (I deal with paperwork relating to things like their sentences, parole etc). It's an interesting environment and I like my colleagues and my boyf works here too as a prison officer. The work itself isn't my dream job. However, eventually, when my son is older and the government's finances improve (so they start rehiring again), I'd like to train to become a probation officer so the work is more varied, more challenging and better paid. 

I'm the leading paparazzi in town...!
