Whiskey and speed.

I actually just make sure I've had a good meal beforehand, and grab a can of coke (full fat - pretty much the only time I drink it) and a mars bar or something afterwards.

I used to have to force myself to eat properly before it, the one time I didn't I showed signs of shock on  the way home from getting tattooed. In my defence I wasn't meant to be getting work that day but the artist had space after a complex piece he was meant to be doing needed re-sized and I got told when I got to the studio and was about to jump in a car to a convention. I struggle to eat until lunchtime and it wound up being a long sitting and the food at the otherwise great show sucked.

I'm not sure what I'd have with me now, not sure I could handle a long sitting just now but I'd be wanting to go a week after my b12 shot and load up on ham salad wraps before hand. Always got nice cups of tea before, during and after when getting work done in the studio with more sugar after than before for a wee boost on the way home. Always had at least a bottle of water and bru with me as well.

I like having a protein heavy meal afterward too, like really good ribs or steak.
