The other day someone described me as "heavily tattooed". I don't think of myself as "heavily" tattooed. I've probably got around 10% to 15% of my total body area covered at the moment and plan to eventually have around 75% of my body tattooed. At what point do you think someone is "heavily tattooed"? |

Id reckon 2 sleeve's as well, its a hard thing to judge.

At every point in my progress I have pretty much always considered people with more tattoos than myself as heavily tattoo'd. That's probably down to jealousy on my part haha.
I definately wouldn't say I'm heavily tattoo'd though. Others disagree. But it seems that the people who consider me to be heavily tattoo'd have fewer tattoos than I do, never more. Maybe my logic isn't so screwed after all? LOL |

I probably have around that much coverage. I cetainly will after my next tattoo in a few weeks.

I personally think heavily tattooed would be some chest,back, both sleeves, and some legs. I have high standards, though.

That would mean that someone would need more tattooed than bare skin to qualify. I have a few years to go to meet those standards (I should have maybe 20% coverage by the end of 2009).
I like the idea of having a high standard :)

Gah face, hand, throat tattoos. I don't see tattooing as an extreme or "heavy" modification unless it begins to alter someone's life. Even then it will still take a lot more ink than that for me to consider someone "heavily" tattooed.

when the only space you have left for tattoos is your eyelids, inner cheeks, and the space between your balls and asshole.... then, you're heavily tattooed...
