God im posting a lot, but how many of you guys and gals out there would kill to have a tail? i know i would, it just seems a bit wierd that evolution got rid of ours.
I've heard that they are working on tail implants but these things arn't very likely to be happening within our life times. I think we could geniticaly enginer ah person to be born with a tail, but that'd be pretty redundant for my needs ;) |

What is this 'evolution' you speak of?

if at any point we had tails while evolving it is possible we still have the ability. with genetic engineering that gene could just be turned back on while in the womb, or so says the show i watched on the discovery channel about birds who no longer grow teeth and reptiles who no longer sport feathers. we may be a little more complicated than that though, but i'm not an engineer, haha.
i'm not interested in a tail, though. i remember ages ago someone posted wanting to give his submissive BDSM female friend a more permanent tail and i don't remember there being that many feasible ideas at this time. Edited by eatenplacenta - May/27/2009 at 7:27am |

at the moment having a tail is impossible unless you were born with a elongated tail bone, there's a japanese man that has a 1 foot long tail i don't think he can move it, it's just there but it does look pretty groovy. |

haha think it would be a bit uncomfortable to lay down tho^^ i like laying on my back too much:))
actually, i just watched a health show about evolutionary left overs, and seems the tail is used for balance for creatures with four legs. call me retarded, but i would think having four legs you could better balance than two??

yeah... especially considering monkeys are bipedal and their tails are the most balance orientated... |

no use having a tail with no function to me...i'd wanna swing from the trees like an ape^^ really is funny you bought this topic up tho- in this tv show they were just talking about how a very few people may still have a tiny visable bump...

well, wouldn't that be backward to evolutions purposes??
i guess our tails are gone for a reason:((
i vote for genetic modification as an answer:)) then you can look as freaky as you want (well, at least make your kids look as freaky as you want:P) Edited by xjessiex - May/27/2009 at 8:03am |

haha depends on how you look at it, i view autism as the next evolutionary step, i mean if you look at it autistic people are either amazingly smart or really strong, im thinking that evolution is trying to either split the human race into sub-species or is attempting to merge the two making us both smart and strong. |
