i really want to get both of my trags done, preferably at the same time, unless that is somehow a super bad idea?
i have a couple of friends who both have had tragus piercing problems [one with an ugly infection, one had an infection that resulted in temporary semi-facial paralysis (NO JOKE)]
also, my ears are kind of weird, and different shapes, so i'm hoping it would still be a possible endeavour?
(don't mind the terrible jewellery haha)
aaand, is it possible to wear something like this in a tragus? http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdetails.asp?jewelry=barbell&ProductID=4329&index=19
aaand, i have no clue what length size would be appropriate?

Do you have more details on the tragus infection that lead to semi paralysis? Name treatment cause? Just really curious and good to know of such cases. :)

The barbell looks a fine choice, your piercer will be able to recommend suitable jewellery size for you.

yeah, it reminds me of something i heard from a friend that a poorly done septum piercing can lead to paralysis, but i never gave it much thought. dosent seem very likely

I have both of mine done and i would suggest to get one done at a time. Its just easier to take care of one and having them both done will affect your sleeping. Sleeping on them will irritate them while they are healing so having a free ear to sleep on is nice. I got mine done at different times and im glad i did. Ive had them for almost 6 years now.

That jewlery would probably be fine as long as you wait till they are healed to put it in. Also, you're tragues look fine to be pierced, as a piercer just to make sure though!

I have one of mine done and it was fine. I'd recommend getting one done at a time, cuz mine didnt hurt at all, but for the first little while it was hell to sleep on. the healing it worse than the piering.
good luck:)

Agreed to one at a time. Especially if you're on your phone alot. You're going to want one to ear free to speak with.

Thats a bit mental, the piercing leading to paralysis. The infection must have been really bad. As long as you go to professional piercer and you follow the aftercare instructions I very much doubt any piercing could lead to paralysis so you'll be fine.

I would suggest that you got them done separately, and i wouldn't get a barbell, i'd get a labret stud because if you want to wear earphones the ball on the otherside would get in the way
It's where you're going, not where you are.

I honestly would do one at a time but definitely go for a barbell. You and your piercer will have a hard time getting a labret stud out if thats what you get and intend to change the jewelry. Sleeping WILL be much easier and help heal your tragus if you do one at a time. Nothing new, just keep it clean and unirritated and it'll heal fine. No paralysis!
clubbed drugged and left on a bench
