all he does is lounge act covers of famous songs... if you saw 28 days later, the disturbed cover at the end is done by him... his cover of that dumbass rap song Milkshake is hilarious... |

I can't think of any that haven't been played to death already
'Holy Diver' originally by Dio covered by Killswitch.
'Can't take my eyes off you' not sure who that was by.. loads have covered it but I think Muse did the best job :)
'Please, please, please, let me get what I want' originally by the Smiths, The Deftones and Muse both covered it and both covers are really good.
'Orgasmatron' originally by motorhead, covered by Sepultura =D
'Walk' originally done by Pantera.. covered by a7x.. but it's a shit cover imo.
'The Wild Rover' by The Dubliners (R.I.P. Ronnie Drew) covered by The Dropkick Murphys.
'Maggie's Farm' by *I THINK* Bob Dylan, covered by RATM and sometimes muse have played the riff live..
vid for reference
I seem to have rambelled(sp?) on a bit :)
edit: I put in the word 'my' instead of 'by' 4 times =/ Edited by QOTSA90 - May/19/2009 at 7:17am |

I think their whole first album was covers of Metallica songs. edit: A band called Helmet wrote a song 'In the meantime'. Soulfly covered it :) I can just tell I'm gonna be back posting in this thread later! Deftones played 'say it aint so' by weezer a few years back.. Edited by QOTSA90 - May/19/2009 at 1:07pm |
