pierced with an 8g needle, then had a 10g retainer put in. within a week i'd sneezed out the retained a few times so i put an 8g circular barbell in. then last night i committed piercing sin, yet again, and slid a 6g pincer in. the initial piercing is 3 weeks old, so i know this is sin that i've already stretched, but it slid in easy peasy.  the initial piercing made my eyes well with big ole crocodile tears, and when my cat head butts my nose, which he does a lot, i am much more apt to notice, but other than that, 3 weeks in and alls well.

One of my first piercings, my septum.. Got it done at 14ga, gradually stretched it to 2ga. Each stretch sucked. Mine hit cartilage and was not fun. I had to take it out for x-rays, shrunk to 8ga, said fuckit, and had it punched at 8mm (0ga).
Haven't stretched it since then, but the 0ga Kaos in it is really loose and I'm afraid of inhaling another one..

Yeah, I got my septum done at a 14ga and had no problem going to a 12ga but trying to get the 10ga jewelry in was kind of a bitch. I'm gonna try it after a nice warm shower. But yeah, I was like crying my eyes watered so much when I got it pierced, my piercer just kept giving me tissues haha :)

Well, I got mine pierced just because I could, back in 2004, me and a friend were bored one day so we walk to the only tattoo shop in town and look at the tattoos for ideas so we look around for about 10 minutes and we decide to get a piercing just for fun, so we find the prices and it was only $20 for a septum and $20 for a tongue piercing, which my friend decided to get, so I go to where he tells me to sit and he starts to pick my nose and clean it with some weird smelling natural stuff so then he asks me what size I want it and I say 10ga and then he goes on to tell me that he has to pierce it with a 8ga needle so it will slide right in, so I say "ok sounds good to me" unaware that this was gonna take my breath away, so after I got it pierced four days later I take out the captive ring he pierced because my mom couldn't look at me without making some weird face or comment, so I put in a hourseshoe without the balls and god damn that was the most painful thing that has happend to it, it took me about 30 minutes to find the hole again and then once I found it, it took ten more minutes to open the other side back up, then once I get get it in it won't flip up, so now we have to drive an hour away to buy a retainer or I cant live under my mom's roof, so we get to the head shop that sells jewelry and all the have is a ten gauge pincher so I buy it and ever since then I've had a pierced septum and I've took it out several times over the years and it will shink to a 14ga hasn't closed up yet, I've stretched it about five times in the past 5 years so yeah it's been through hell, my method was to use pinchers until 6ga and I think they hurts worse than a taper because of the round shape like if you move them from front to back you can feel the curve of the ring, but yeah I went from a 14ga to a 8ga in two days after it was out for a year, and it didn't hurt so much, not near as bad as 6ga to 4ga it hurt just like the piercing if not more pain from all the pressure, im currently at 4ga going to 0ga in the next 8 weeks

Mine is just refusing to go past 3.2mm when I use a stretching crescent which is a pain in the arse so I'm trying taping to see if that'll work, up til now it's been cushty though, just a little tender for a couple days.
