Something that wasn't sixteen hijackers with box cutters brought down the world trade center. Three buildings all brought down in a similar demolition sort of manner. All were brought down faster than gravity itself.

many things in this i would like to believe but noone will know the full truth outside of the american government i reckon. nothing added up to my 11 year old mind at the time, especially the Boeing hole in the wall and the fact that WTC building 7 was the first building in the history of the world to collapse to its foundations because of a normal internal fire. i have only ever seen buildings collapse like that because of demolitions. it looked too clean.... |

i agree - thus why i believe the airplane crashes were not the thing to bring the buildings down. |

I try not to think about 9/11 too much. My opinions on it usually piss off everyone I know. (Mainly because I bring up the fact the equivalent of 9/11 happens daily in some countries.)
No, 9/11 wasn't good, but at the same time it's been turned into a catchphrase basically for the Republican Nazi Party to the point I just don't give a damn anymore. Also, I don't live in New York, nor do I now or have friends or family which live in New York. I was not personally effected or impacted by 9/11 directly. I didn't get personally fucked until the Patriot Act happened.  |

yeah i was very confused at why everyone was so bothered as the only difference between this and mass genocide in other countries is the fact that america can speak english. and Patriotic Act? |

patriot act. they can hold you indefinitely and suspend all your rights all by saying you are suspected of terrorist activities. They can tap phones, invade your privacy, basically gives them the right to do ANYTHING to you, and the only provision is that they have to say that it's a matter of homeland security.

All in all the towers were brought down by those planes and (arguably) by the hijackers. But I just don't see a way to pull something like that off without some kind of government agency (how many of those have you over there?) knowing about it. I think, they just underestimated the impact those guys would have. Other reasons why someone must have known about it: Mr President was - REALLY coincidental - in a school in random smalltown, US. Only four weeks after famous 9/11 the war in Afghanistan started - which is the time to send troops over there. So all that intelligence-gathering can't have taken more than a few hours...really believable... You don't have to be paranoid to think of things like that  |

lol intellegence gathering...they closed off the rubble of the WTC after they collapsed and within the hour pretty much they were shipping off the rubble to international recycling plants before anyone was able to look at it. |

I don't think there were any bombs involved. The planes definitely were enough firepower to bring down the Twin Towers so the rubble would likely not tell any big tales.But the troops were shipped to Afghanistan pretty much within the hour, too...
By the way, the video you posted earlier sound interesting...not sure exactly how authentic all that stuff really is, though. |
