A guy had to scrub his fingertips everyday for a certain amount of time using wire wool and pineapple juice, after a week the pain got so bad he had to stop, and then within a month the fingerprints were visible again. <br><br>I have warped fingerprints due to being a dick and nearly losing my thumb and first finger at a festival with a Spam tin! It was nearly 4 years ago and it still hurts if I hit it or catch my thumb right on the scar.<br><br>boo to Spam and dirty cheap cider mixed together<br>]]>

Perhaps, and its a big theoretical perhaps, you could use a tissue expander along the side of your finger...gradually stretching the skin until you had enough to heavily dermabrade the tips then cut and draw the expanded tissue over the pad.<br><br>Ive seen some fine illustrations of finger based tissue expanders, which is where I am drawing my inspiration, though the intent was to produce enough skin to web hands. <br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Metalations - December/28/2008 at 10:44am</span>]]>
