Ultimately, it's up to choice. Texas is such a heavily regulated State when it comes to what is considered a surgical modification. I know it's possible to get tongue splitting in Texas, but it's usually not something that's openly broadcast and it only carries misdemeanor charges, where as a circumcision not performed by a licensed professional carries felony charges. It's also one of those things where if something goes wrong at no fault of the artist, and the client decides to sue, there's no protection whatsoever for the artist, and any sort of liability release is a waste of paper. The laws are pretty clear...They hold the person performing the procedure 100% responsible if they're not a licensed medical practitioner.

It's not a chance I could ever fathom taking, but I'm not the artist performing the procedure. Zombie Creeping Flesh is pretty alright, in fact from what I've heard a lot of Italian Horror films are really good. You should check out Versus as well and of course the Evil Dead films.

They make power interters that can put out enough amps to run an electric dryer so I don't think there would be any problem.  Some are even more powerfull.  Add a deep cycle marine battery or two and an inverter and you can run just about anything.  Some houses with solar power are ran with deep cycle marine batteries and inverters used to run power to a whole house.
