BloodNoise = Awesome
We recently received a collection of very interesting photos of an event that takes place in Latvia from BMod'er ShowNoMercy.
Here is what he has to say:
"The event is called: Euronoise_Sturm
Location: Night club - DEPO (Depot) Riga, Latvia
The guys performing these actions is: Brigado Genocido - Zyrnys (the suspended guy), Vavil (pierced face), Hencha(the doctor). (adrenaline pulses / digitally depressed S/M / ambient bloodnoise)
Sturm had emerged out of the real underground in april 1998, with a series of legendary parties, involving local noise artists and porn / shock performances. By the time it was the only industrial (and alternative altogether) event around, reviving memories of early 90`s, when semi-legal club Next in a medieval basement were the place for untamed punk, metal, industrial and darkwave nights. Led by dj Knabis (the beak) the movement has retained it`s uncompromising stance and attitude all through those years. Nowadays Sturm hosts a monthly party at Depo club, with live performances of local and foreign industrial bands."
Just the fact the there's a genre of music called bloodnoise(!) makes this totally worth it! If anyone has any samples of what bloodnoise sounds like, I'd love to hear it!
